Chef Greg Baxtrom was a semi-finalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: New York City in 2018. In 2017, Baxtrom received the StarChefs Award for New York City Rising Star Chef.

Chef Bio: Chef and owner Greg Baxtrom worked in some of the world's most exciting kitchens, including Alinea, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Per Se and Lysverket in Norway, among others, before opening his first restaurant Olmsted in Prospect Heights in Spring 2016. His 50-seat restaurant showcases a seasonal and creative vegetable-forward menu that highlights produce from the lush backyard garden as well as local farmers and purveyors.

In May 2019, Greg opened his second restaurant Maison Yaki in Prospect Heights. Greg combines his two favorite cuisines in this French yakitori restaurant and patio which is rooted in his appreciation for classical French and love for the style of yakitori. Maison Yaki has been featured in outlets like The New York Times, Food & Wine, Rachael Ray Every Day, Architectural Digest, among others.

Charity: Proceeds of this collaboration will go to Olmsted’s food bank to feed people in need in Brooklyn.
